The Trial Chamber sitting in the case for crimes committed on Mount Igman in 1993 terminated the custody measure against Hodzic and ordered prohibiting measures instead.

He will be released from custody once the Chamber has checked certain things in the case file.

Hodzic, former member of “Zulfikar” Unit of the Army of BiH, was arrested in September 2009. After that he was indicted, along with five other persons, for crimes in Trusina.

His trial began in 2010. Considering the fact that, according to the law, an indictee may be held in custody for no more than three years in the period between the confirmation of the indictment against him and pronouncement of a first instance verdict, Hodzic was released to liberty in March 2013.

However, the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina arrested him immediately after his release due to a suspicion that he committed crimes on Mount Igman, Hadzici municipality. After that Hodzic was ordered back into custody.
