The indictment alleges that Merdzic, who was accompanied by about ten other members of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, shot at a vehicle on the road between Bratunac and Konjevic Polje from an ambush set in Glogova village. On that occasion all three Serb civilians, who were in the car, got killed.
The Trial Chamber announced that it would order court police to apprehend witness Avdic. The continuation of the trial was scheduled for February 3, 2014.
