Kameric is charged with having participated in physical and mental torture, as well as inhumane treatment of Serb and Bosniak civilians and prisoners of war, who were held in the police premises and at “Polet” stadium in Bosanski Brod in 1992.

Besides that, she is charged with having assisted in the commission of rapes and sexual abuse against detainees.

The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina alleges that Kameric, former member of the 101st Bosanski Brod Brigade of the Croatian Defence Council, HVO, participated in the crimes together with other HVO members.

Considering the fact that she pleaded not guilty, the trial of Indira Kameric is due to begin in the forthcoming period.
