The Bosnian Prosecution suspects Vujovic and Duka of having participated in the persecution of the non-Serb population in Bileca in 1992, thus committing war crimes against humanity.

“Concretely, they are suspected of having committed unlawful detention, deportations, murders, torture and physical and mental abuse of Bosniaks and Croats in Bileca municipality,” the State Prosecution announcement says.

The Prosecution says Vujovic was Chief of the Public Safety Station in Bileca, while Duka was Police Commander with the Public Safety Station in Bileca at that time.

They were arrested in the Bileca and Trebinje area, as per a warrant issued by the Prosecution.

Vujovic and Duka will be examined. After that, the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina will decide whether to file a custody order motion or not.
