Andabak, the then member of “Kralj Petar Kresimir IV” Brigade, said that he was not present in Livno on August 8/9, 1992, when, according to the charges, Crncevic was killed.

“I was in Zagreb, but I read a report and obtained information about the whole event… It is known to me that Ilija Pavic participated in a police control task that evening and that late Dalibor Perkovic led the police control,” the witness told the Cantonal Court in Livno.

He said that he did not know who opened fire during that night, but he knew that a raid took place during that night and that men were arrested and brought to the “Ivan Goran Kovacic” school building.

As he said, this was a disarming operation.

The indictment charges Pavic, former member of the Croatian Defence Council, HVO, with having killed Milorad Crncevic with firearms.

The trial is due to continue on December 5.
