The verdict against Ivanovic, former member of the Second Special Police Squad with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska from Sekovici, is due to be pronounced on Monday, June 17.  

Under a first instance verdict, Ivanovic was sentenced to 13 years in prison for having participated in the capture, escorting and keeping watch near the warehouse in Kravica village on July 13, 1995, where about 1,000 Bosniaks were killed. The Appellate Chamber revoked the verdict and ordered a retrial.

On that same day the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Defence are due to present their appeals against a verdict, under which Jasko Gazdic was sentenced to 17 years in prison for crimes in Foca. Gazdic, former member of the Republika Srpska Army, was sentenced for having raped three females and assisted in the commission of another rape.  

On Monday a hearing is due to be held in order to discuss a custody extension motion against Nedzad Hodzic and Dzevad Salcin, whom the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina charges with crimes against Serb and Croat civilians and prisoners of war on Mount Igman in 1993.   

Now that the Prosecution has completed the presentation of evidence against Edin Dzeko, the Defence is due to present its evidence presentation plan on Tuesday, June 18. Dzeko, a former member of the “Zulfikar” Squad with the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is charged with crimes in Konjic and Jablanica.

On that same day the trial is due to continue in the case against Predrag Milisavljevic, Milos Pantelic and Ljubomir Tasic, who are charged with having participated in the murders, forced resettlement, detention, torture and forced disappearances in the Visegrad area in the period from April to June 1992.

On Wednesday, June 19 the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina is due to continue presenting evidence at the trial of Ostoja Stanisic and Marko Milosevic, who are indicted for genocide in Srebrenica. Stanisic and Milosevic are charged with having participated in the crimes committed on Petkovci dam, near Zvornik, where about 1,000 Bosniak men and boys from Srebrenica, who had previously been captured, were executed in mid-July 1995.

Zoran Malinic and Zoran Milic, former members of the Croatian Defence Council, HVO, who are charged with crimes in Busovaca, are due to appear in court on Thursday, June 20.

The retrials of Marko Adamovic and Bosko Lukic, who are charged with crimes in Kljuc, and Milan Peric, Spasoje Doder, Predrag Terzic and Aleksandar Cerovina, who are indicted for crimes in Kalinovik, are scheduled to continue in the week ahead.
