“Family members have confirmed the identification of Meho Sinanovic, brothers Senahid and Nedim Sahinpasic and brothers Muhidin and Mevludin Manjic,” said Lejla Cengic, spokesperson of the Institute for the Missing Persons of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Meho Sinanovic’s brother Denis came from the Netherlands to Tuzla in order to confirm his identification. Besides his brother Meho, Denis’ sister, father and mother were killed in Vlasenica. His brother Meho was killed on his 17th birthday. “My brothers, sister and father were taken from our home at the beginning of May. I have never seen them again. They took me, my mother and two brothers to Susica detention camp. I have come here today to confirm my brother’s identification,” Denis said. These five bodies will be buried following a joint funeral ceremony at the “Rakita” Muslim martyrs cemetery in Vlasenica on Saturday, April 20. Besides them, Abid Alibasic, Ibrahim Becirovic, Senad Becirovic, Abdulah Dzeodzaljevic, Fahir Muminovic and Mirsad Mehremic, whose bodies were identified before, will be buried on the same day.A send-off of the bodies will be organised in front of the Commemorative Centre in Tuzla one day prior to the burial.
