“The Court has submitted, via the Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina, court summons to the indictee’s address in Croatia, which is registered as his place of residence, but we have still not been informed whether the indictee has accepted the summons or not,” Judge Vesna Jasenkovic said.

She said that, in case the Court receives a confirmation in the upcoming period, that Rodin has received the summons, it will issue an arrest warrant against him.

The Defence attorney of Rodin failed to appear at this hearing too. The indictment against Rodin was filed in March this year.

According to the charges, Rodin committed crimes in his capacity as an investigator with the Security and Information Service, SIS of the Knez Domagoj Brigade with the Croatian Defence Council, HVO.

It is alleged that he participated in the physical abuse, examination, humiliation and the robbing of civilians in Dretelj, Gabela and Silos detention camps in the Capljina area.
