Testifying before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nedeljko Naric said that he was recruited by the 122nd Brigade of the First Krajina Corps with the Republika Srpska Army, VRS in November 1991, adding that his unit was situated at Sakane, near Serdari village, on September 17, 1992.

Naric said that, during the night on September 17, 1992 he heard gunshots in Serdari, adding that some members of his Squad, who were armed, went to Serdari village after that.

“There was no army in Serdari, unless the local residents organized themselves,” Naric said, adding that, a few hours later they saw a tank passing by them, but he did not know whether it opened fire at Serdari village from that location or not.

Fikret Planincic, Rasim Lisancic, Sead Menzil and Mirsad Vatrac, who, according to the charges, were members of the Territorial Defence in Kotor-Varos, are on trial for having participated in that attack.

The witness said that he did not know any of the four indictees.
