The Una-Sana Cantonal Prosecution charges Skrbic, former member of the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, with the murder of Sukrija Medic in June 1992.Skrbic, who was armed with an automatic rifle and dressed in military uniform, came to Sukrija Medic’s house in Sanica, Kljuc municipality accompanied by Vlado Uncanin, who died in the meantime. On their arrival, they saw Medic in front of the house door. While holding a rifle pointed at his back, they escorted him to an orchard, where Skrbic killed him by shooting him in the head, said Jasmin Mesic, Prosecutor with the Una-Sana Cantonal Prosecution.Indictee Milan Skrbic from Futoga, the Republic of Serbia, was unavailable to the prosecution bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina for a long time.Following the issuing of an international warrant and owing to a good collaboration between police and intelligence agencies from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia through the international legal assistance, Skrbic was located and examined, as a suspect, by Serbian investigative bodies. Therefore, the conditions have been created for completing the investigation and filing the indictment, Mesic said.D.D.
