Episode 157: In Ukraine as in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fear for the Future and Hope for Justice
This post is also available in: Bosnian
Almost two full years after the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the horrifying images we saw that were reminiscent of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the war, we decided to take a 30-hour trip across Austria and Poland to Kyiv. We were told incredible personal stories, we visited places of suffering, we experienced the shelling of Kyiv and saw how Ukraine was living quite normally during daytime in the holiday season until midnight, after which sirens sounded and people went to hide in shelters. In this programme, you can see how Ukraine is coping with the consequences of the Russian invasion and why President Volodimir Zelensky said that Russia will try to destabilise the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Western Balkans in the near future.
