This post is also available in: Bosnian
Milorad Dodik is in the biggest trouble he’s had since the beginning of his political career. US sanctions are shutting down the companies close to him, and his pro-Russian policies have less and less international support. But he now claims again that he has a plan and is hoping that international relationships will change so much that he will gain support even for his most daring schemes for the secession of Republika Srpska. That is why, in this programme, we wanted to see close-up how Dodik creates and announces new alliances, why they almost always overlap with places where Russian influence is strong, and what his real chances of turning matters to his advantage are.
