In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the search for nearly 400 children who disappeared in the war is still ongoing. Parents and relatives are racing against time to find their remains, as their hopes slowly fade. That is why BIRN Bosnia and Herzegovina is launching a Database of Children Missing in the War. We hope that we still have time to tell stories about the lives of the children who disappeared and where they were last seen, and also to call on anyone who might know their whereabouts to provide information. In February’s programme, we are bringing you stories told by fathers, brothers and sons who have not given up on their wish to bury their children, sisters and brothers who were minors when they were killed.
