Bosnian Ex-Fighter Indicted for Destroying Mosque
The Bosnian prosecution charged ex-fighter Goran Mojovic with carrying out the demolition of the 16th Century Aladza mosque in Foca in August 1992.
The prosecution on Monday charged Goran Mojovic with having participated in planting explosives and causing a blast that completely destroyed the Aladza mosque in Foca on August 2, 1992.

“The defendant undertook the planting and activation of the explosives in collaboration with another soldier, who got killed in 1993,” the prosecution said in a statement.
Mojovic has been charged with a crime against humanity in relation to the destruction of cultural, religious and historic monuments.
The prosecution said Aladza mosque was built from 1550 to 1551. It was put under state protection by the Yugoslav authorities in 1950.
The indictment has been filed to the state court for confirmation.
