According to the charges, on an undetermined date in the second half of July or first half of August 1992 in the village of Bajrici-Novo Selo in the Kamenica area of the Zvornik municipality, Veseli killed the 12-year old Serb boy, while Halilovic failed to undertake necessary and reasonable actions to punish the perpetrator of the crime.

Halilovic was charged in his capacity as commander of the Reconnaissance Squad of the Bosnian Army’s Liplje-Kamenica joint unit, and Veseli as a member of the squad.

Female ex-soldier Veseli was extradited from Switzerland to Bosnia and Herzegovina in March this year.
