According to the charges, Sejdic, a former commander of the First Visegradska Brigade of the Bosnian Army (ABiH), ordered and carried out the inhumane treatment of Serb civilians and prisoners of war, specifically members of the Bosnian Serb Army (VRS).

The indictment alleges that Sejdic committed these crimes from July 1992 to February 1993. He has been charged with failing to prevent or punish his subordinates for causing injuries and inflicting other forms of suffering upon civilians and prisoners of war, as well as looting their property.

The state prosecution filed an indictment against Sejdic in late December 2015.

Sejdic is expected to enter his plea in the upcoming period.
