Karagic has been charged with murder and assisting in the commission of murders, as well as detention, rape and the pillaging of property belonging to the non-Serb population in the Doboj area, from the spring of 1992 until the autumn of the same year.

According to the charges, Karagic was a member of a special unit called the “Red Berets” with the safety services center in Doboj at that time.

The state prosecution’s indictment originally covered crimes committed in Teslic as well. However, the state court has been unable to establish whether the portion of the indictment concerning crimes committed in Teslic has been confirmed as well.
