Prosecutor Milorad Barasin said the injured parties in the case objected to the guilt admission agreement. The trial chamber postponed the last hearing, until the prosecution obtained the injured parties’ stand regarding the agreement.

Barasin presented evidence, including witness statements, a report on Lipovac’s examination, as well as the findings of a court medical expert.

The trial chamber said it would review the documents in detail and decide whether to accept or reject the agreement.

In December 2015, Lipovac signed an agreement with the state prosecution, admitting his guilt for crimes in the Derventa area in 1992.

According to previous announcements made by the state prosecution, Lipovac, a former member of the 103rd Brigade of the Croatian Defense Council, participated in the murder, assault, theft and torture of Serb individuals.

Lipovac was arrested in the Netherlands in May 2014 and was extradited to Bosnia and Herzegovina in November 2015.
