Prosecutor Nives Kanevcev requested that two witnesses be examined in the absence of the public, due to concerns that they would be endangered by their testimony. The trial chamber accepted the request.
Dusko Dabetic has been charged with the assault and rape of a Bosniak woman in the Sarajevo area in 1992, a crime Predrag Miskovic has also been accused of committing alongside the defendant. Dabetic allegedly raped the same woman several times during 1992 and 1993.
The indictment alleges that Dabetic supervised a work squad in Grbavica and later on became a member of the Bosnian Serb Army.
The date of the next hearing will be set at a later stage.
