Marinko Miljevic, a former member of the Bosnian Serb Army, has been charged with killing civilian Azema Kucukovic with an automatic weapon in August 1992.
Prosecution witness Zoran Mandic, a former member of the Bosnian Serb Army, told the cantonal court of Bihac how he heard about the murder.
“I didn’t even know the people in my village. Some people talked about this woman being killed, but I never heard who did it,” Mandic said.
Mandic said Miljevic was also a soldier with the Bosnian Serb Army, but didn’t know which unit he served under.
The trial continues on December 15.
