Perica Adzic Sentence Reduced
The Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has reduced the sentence against Perica Adzic by a year and four months. He has now been sentenced to two years and eight months in prison.
The cantonal court of Zenica initially sentenced him to four years in prison for committing crimes against the wounded and sick in Zepce in 1993.||Adzic, a former member of the Croatian Defense Council, was found guilty of attacking injured patients convalescing a classroom in Zepce in June 1993. He wounded a patient named Nermin Purko and tortured other patients by breaking their infusion bottles and placing a hot rifle barrel on their bodies.
