The state prosecution said it planned to read two statements given by deceased witness Boro Borcic. It proposed that the public be excluded from the hearing, because a protected witness known as ST-1 was mentioned in those statements.

Vojic and Mesic, former members of the 501st Brigade of the Fifth Corps of the Bosnian Army, have been charged with the repeated rape of a woman on May 1 or 2, 1994, and with forcing another person to sexually abuse her.

The trial will continue on September 23.
