Causevic, a former member of the Zulfikar Special Purposes Squad of the Headquarters of the Main Command of the Bosnian Army, has been acquitted of charges that he deliberately caused severe bodily and mental harm to Zoran Knezevic in the village of Grabovci in the municipality of Konjic.
He has also been acquitted of charges that he threatened to attach explosives to the body of Dragana Knezevic, a child at the time. He said he would send her to the village of Vrci to kill the commander of the Croatian Defense Council, Ilija Kaleb. He addressed this threat to her parents, Zoran and Ljilja Knezevic, during their transport to the village of Lisicici.
The parties have the right to file an appeal against the verdict with the Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
