Medical Documentation Presented at Djurovic Trial

Material evidence on Predraj Djurovic’s injuries in 1992 and 1993 were included in the case file at his trial.
Djurovic’s defense presented the cantonal court of Sarajevo with the defendant’s hospital discharge documents and medical evidence of his injuries, among other documentation.
The cantonal prosecution didn’t comment on the evidence, which they hadn’t seen earlier, and said they needed more time to examine the documentation before commenting.
Djurovic, a former member of the Bosnian Serb Army, has been charged with the rape of a Bosniak woman in the Vraca neighbourhood of Sarajevo in 1992. He allegedly threatened to kill the woman and her child if she resisted.
The trial will continue on October 1.
