“The appeal filed by the deputy cantonal prosecutor from Novi Travnik has been rejected as unfounded and the verdict handed down by the cantonal court of Novi Travnik is hereby confirmed,” the decision read.

On January 21, 2015, the cantonal court of Novi Travnik acquitted Miroslav Skoro and Dalibor Milos of charges that they committed crimes against prisoners of war in the Kiseljak area during the summer of 1993.

The state prosecution called upon the court to confirm the acquittal of Dalibor Milos and to order a retrial of Miroslav Skoro before the cantonal court of Novi Travnik.

Although the cantonal prosecution in Travnik proposed that the verdict of both defendants be repealed, the federal prosecution did not support this proposal in the case of Milos.

Skoro and Milos, former members of the Croatian Defense Council, were acquitted of having committed crimes against prisoners of war in the village of Behrici, near Kiseljak. They allegedly acted in collaboration with Bosiljko and Ljubomir Dilber. Ramo Hatidzic, Memsudin Planincic and Vahid Klisura were captured and tortured by the defendants. Klisura was eventually killed.

The cantonal court in Novi Travnik rejected the accusations against Bosiljko and Ljubomir Dilber.
