Defense attorney Fadil Abaz enclosed eleven pieces of material evidence, most of which are sourced from the Osman Brkan case and are related to the events which took place in Blace, Konjic.

The Bosnian state court has accepted the testimonies of Osman Brkan and Sevko Macic as documents. The state prosecution objected, and said this material should not be taken into account considering Brkan and Macic could testify in favour of the defense instead.

Macic, a former member of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has been charged with participating in the torture and sexual abuse of detainees at the Musala school building in Konjic from April-October 1993. He is also charged with the murder of four old women in the village of Blace in 1992.

Osman Brkan was tried alongside Macic for the murder of the four women from Blace, but was acquitted under a second instance verdict in May 2014.

The state prosecution will present its closing arguments on March 20.
