“I plead not guilty to all counts contained in the indictment,” indictee Vasic said.

Vasic, Zoljic and Pantic are charged with having assisted in the forcible resettlement of the local population from Srebrenica, separation of men from their families, as well as the capture and execution of men and boys in the Bratunac, Srebrenica and Zvornik areas.

The indictment alleges that Vasic was Commander of the Police Forces Headquarters in Zvornik and Chief of the Public Safety Centre, CJB, in Zvornik; Zoljic was Commander of special units with the CJB in Zvornik, and Pantic was Commander of the First Company of special units of the CJB in Zvornik.

The indictment was confirmed on December 16 last year.

The beginning of the trial will be set at a later stage.
