Under the second instance verdict pronounced in December 2013, Kukavica, former Commander of Security, was found guilty of having committed crimes against prisoners of war in a detention camp at the “Iskra” stadium in Bugojno.
The third instance Chamber rejected the appeal against the verdict filed by the Defence.
Kukavica had the right to appeal this verdict, because he was acquitted at the end of first instance trial, which began in February 2008.
The third instance Chamber’s decision is final.
