Prosecutor Zorica Djurdjevic included 191 pieces of material evidence in the case file. The documents included, among others, evidence about the disarming of Serb residents and the police’s role in those activities.

The Prosecution presented a series of documents about the work of the Public Safety Station in Hadzici, but it did not explain them in detail due to the large number of documents introduced today.

A part of the documents refers to acts by the District Military Prosecution and Court in Sarajevo.

“On the basis of these documents, it can be seen when the processes against the persons, who were detained in the facilities listed in the indictment, were conducted and where those persons were during those processes,” Prosecutor Djurdjevic said.

Mustafa Djelilovic, Fadil Covic, Mirsad Sabic, Nezir Kazic, Becir Hujic, Halid Covic, Serif Mesanovic and Nermin Kalember are on trial for crimes in “Silos”, the “Krupa” military barracks and the “9.maj” school building.

According to the charges, Hujic was Manager and Deputy Manager of “Silos” and Halid Covic performed the same functions. Mesanovic was one of the Deputy Managers of “Silos” and Manager of a detention camp in “Krupa” barracks, while Kalember was a guard in “Silos”. The other indictees were members of civil, military and police authorities.

The Prosecution also introduced receipts for objects confiscated from detainees, as well as official notes prepared during their arrests.

“Some pieces of evidence mention that individuals were detained for possessing weapons,” the Prosecutor said.

She mentioned that she would speak about the documents in more detail during the presentation of her closing statement.

The Prosecution has included 324, out of proposed 1,700, pieces of material evidence in the case file so far.

The presentation of evidence is due to be continued on December 11.
