Indictment against Josip Relota Confirmed

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH, confirms an indictment against Josip Relota, former member of the Croatian Defence Council, HVO, charging him with crimes committed in Busovaca municipality in 1993.

Relota, former member of the Second Battalion with “Nikola Subic Zrinski”Brigade of HVO in Busovaca, who was allegedly accompanied by two other persons, is charged with having abused and killed three Bosniak civilians and severely wounded one person in a house in January 1993.

“After having left the house, Josip Relota dropped a bomb, which exploded inside the house,” the indictment alleges.
