Verdict for Crimes in Kladanj Due Next Week

In the week ahead the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH, is due to pronounce a first instance verdict against Hariz Habibovic, who is charged with crimes against the civilian population in Stupari village, near Kladanj, in 1992.

The verdict against Habibovic, whom the Prosecution of BiH charges with having participated, together with two other persons, in the beating of Ladimir Dragic, who, according to the charges, committed suicide later that day, is due to be pronounced on Wednesday, November 12.

On Monday, November 10 a plea hearing is due to be held in the case against Mitar Vlasenko, Rade Vlasenko and Drago Koncar, who are charged with crimes in Prijedor in 1992.

Srecko Boskovic, who is charged with crimes in Djulici village, Zvornik municipality, as well as Zeljko Stanarevic, who is indicted for crimes in the Bihac area, are due to enter their pleas on Wednesday.  

A pre-trial status conference in the case against Ekrem Ibracevic, Faruk Smajlovic and Sejdalija Covic, who are charged with crimes in the Srebrenik area, is due to be held on November 11.¸

On Wednesday the Prosecution will read a statement, which indictee Milosevic gave to a Hague Tribunal investigator in the capacity of a suspect, at the trial of Ostoja Stanisic and Marko Milosevic for genocide in Srebrenica.

The trials for genocide in Srebrenica are due to continue on Monday – in the case against Goran Saric, and Tuesday – in the case against Aleksandar Cvetkovic.

On Monday new State Prosecution witnesses are due to be examined at the trials of Petar Kovacevic, who is charged with crimes in the Visegrad area, Savo Tepic, Dusko Vujicic, Dragoslav Bojic, Dusko Maksimovic, Radojko Keverovic, Rade Skoric and Ilija Kurusic, who are charged with crimes in Kotor-Varos.

On that same day the trials are due to continue in the case against Dragan Sekaric, who is charged with crimes in Visegrad and Gorazde, and Mensur Memic, Dzevad Salcin, Nedzad Hodzic, Senad Hakalovic and Nihad Bojadzic for crimes in Trusina, Konjic municipality.  

The trial of Ivan Zelenika, Srecko Herceg, Ivan Medic, Edib Buljubasic and Marina Grubisic-Fejzic, who are charged with crimes in Dretelj, near Capljina, is due to continue on Tuesday, just like the trial of Goran Vujovic, Miroslav Duka and Zeljko Ilic, who are indicted for crimes in Bileca, and Bosiljko and Ostoja Markovic for crimes in Kotor-Varos.  

On that same day the trial is due to continue in the case against Ramiz Avdovic and Iulian-Nicolae Vintila, who are charged with crimes in Sarajevo.

The continuation of the trial of Vitomir Rackovic, who is charged with crimes in Visegrad, is scheduled for Wednesday. One day later the trials are due to continue in the case against Nedzad Hodzic and Dzevad Salcin, who are charged with crimes on Mount Igman, and Nikola Maric, who is indicted for crimes in the Prozor area.  

The trials of Josip Tolic, who is charged with crimes in Odzak and Bosanski Brod, as well as Jasmin Coloman, who is indicted for crimes in the Vitez area, are due to be continued on Friday.

Slavko Savic, against whom the Prosecution filed an indictment for crimes in Vogosca, is due to appear before the Court of BiH on Friday.

The retrial of Mehura Selimovic, Adil Ruznic and Emir Mustafic, who are charged with crimes in Krajina, is due to continue next week as well.
