Passing of Verdict Postponed to Late October

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina postponed to October 28 the passing of the first degree verdict against Predrag Milisavljevic, Milos Pantelic and Ljubomir Tasic, who are charged with the crimes committed in Visegrad.

The Public Information and Outreach Section of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced that the handing down of the verdict, scheduled for tomorrow, October 14, was postponed due to other engagements of the members of the Trial Chamber.
 
Milisavljevic, Pantelic and Tasic are charged by the State Prosecution with participating in murders, illegal imprisonment, torture and forced expulsion of Bosniaks from the municipality of Visegrad.
 
According to the indictment, Milisavljevic and Pantelic committed these crimes in the period between April and June 1992 as members of the reserve make-up of the police in Visegrad, and Tasic as a member of the Army of Republika Srpska.
 
The trial began in November 2012.
