Witness Memsudin Planincic, a former member of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ABiH, said that he was captured, along with Ramo Hatidzic and Vahid Klisura, on June 1, 1993.

According to Planincic’s testimony, after having been captured he saw indictees Dalibor Milos and Miroslav Skoro in the village.

“They took me to a house about 50 metres away and beat me. While I was leaning against the wall, they shot next to me. The second soldier had long blond hair. I think it was Miroslav Skoro. I prayed to God to be shot by a bullet,” Planincic said, adding that he managed to escape later on by crawling towards Gomionica village in Kiseljak municipality.

According to the charges, Ramo Hatidzic and Vahid Klisura were tortured by former HVO members Miroslav Skoro, Dalibor Milos, Bosiljko Dilber and Ljubomir Dilber, who were accompanied by other people. Klisura was killed on that occasion.

During the cross-examination Branka Praljak, Defence attorney of Skoro and Milos, presented the witness with his earlier statements given to police and prosecution in which he did not mention Miroslav Skoro at all.

The witness confirmed having given and signed those statements, but he could not explain why he failed to mention the indictee earlier.

Witness Planincic said that, during his conversation with Ramo Hatidzic he concluded that the soldier with long blond hair was Miroslav Skoro. He confirmed that indictee Dalibor Milos did not hit him, but he just sat there.

At the end of the examination indictee Skoro said that “the witness is not telling the truth”, while indictee Milos said that he did not see witness Planincic.

The trial is due to continue on November 5.
