BIRN has found out that Muhamed Adzemi, Suljo Karkelj, Senad Halilovic and Omer Ugljesa have been arrested.

According to the Public Safety Centre in Eastern Sarajevo, the four men are suspected of war crimes against Serbs committed in Gorazde during the war.

Adzem, Karkelja, Halilovic and Ugljesa are associated with the abuse and murder of three Serbs from Gorazde, who were captured on Trovrh Hill, near Gorazde.

The Public Safety Centre and Prosecution of Eastern Sarajevo have obtained evidence, indicating that, following their capture on Trovrh, the three Serbs were taken to the Police Station in Gorazde, where they were abused and killed. The remains of two of them were found in Perucac Lake, near Visegrad, while the third body was found in Gorazde’s surroundings.
