The Public Relations Section of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina says that they have not been informed about the indictees death.
According to its usual procedure in a case like this, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina should render a decision on the discontinuation of the criminal proceedings against the indictee.
The trial of Muderizovic, who is charged, along with Ramiz Avdovic and Iliuan-Nicolae Vintila, with crimes committed in Viktor Bubanj military barracks, began before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on March 22 this year.
They are charged with having participated, as members of a joint criminal enterprise, in the establishment and maintenance of a system for abuse of Serb civilians in the period from the end of June to the end of November 1992.
According to the charges, Muderizovic was Deputy Manager on the fifth floor of the District Prison in Sarajevo and Commander of a military prison in the Viktor Bubanj military barracks.
The trial began in March this year and continued until the beginning of April, when a trial break was ordered. The Trial Chamber restarted the main trial on October 12, but it did not give any explanation on why the trial had been temporarily interrupted.
The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has discontinued several proceedings due to death of indictees so far.
Miralem Macic, who was charged with crimes in Konjic; Faruk Prcic, who was charged with crimes in Tuzla, and Milko Mucibabic, who stood trial for crimes in Nevesinje, died before the completion of their trials.
