Witness Nura Cirkic said that, on September 28, 1992 Serb soldiers, including a man named Boro Tepic, took her and her husband from Cirkino brdo village to a school in nearby Vrbanjci village, where they were beaten and mistreated.
They lined us against the wall and told us to raise our three fingers up. Then they beat us. They beat me with a military boot, Cirkic said.
The witness said that she was later taken to the police station in Kotor-Varos, where she was mistreated again.
When asked by Bekir Ferizovic, Defence attorney of indictee Fikret Planincic, whether she knew what had happened in Serdari village immediately before her arrest, Cirkic answered negatively, adding that she did not see Planincic during the conflict and capture.
According to the charges, 16 Serb civilians were killed in Serdari village during an attack on September 17, 1992.
Fikret Planincic, Rasim Lisancic, Sead Menzil and Mirsad Vatrac are on trial for having participated in this attack. According to the charges, they were members of the Territorial Defence in Kotor-Varos.
Testifying in defence of Fikret Planincic at this hearing, witness Zijad Dulic said that, during the war he lived with his family in Orahova village, which was 15 kilometres away from Serdari.
He said that he and his father were renovating destroyed Serb houses during 1993, adding that Milos Serdars house was one of them.
Following the completion of works, my father told me that a worker had told him that Milos Serdars mother spoke to him about the attack on the village, saying that the situation was totally chaotic and that nobody knew what exactly was going on, Dulic said.
The next hearing is due to be held on October 30, 2012.
