He specified that, during his visit to Sarajevo from October 15 to 17 Brammertz will meet with the three-member Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, State Prosecutor, international officials and representatives of victims’ associations.

The topics of discussion will include the co-operation between the Hague Prosecution and Bosnian authorities, the trials for war-crimes indictees before the State Court in Sarajevo and the implementation of the strategy for punishment of war crimes.

Brammertz is due to submit the half-yearly report on the work of The Hague Tribunal’s Prosecution in writing in mid-November. He will present it orally before the UN’s Security Council in New York in December.
