Officers from the Border Police in Bijeljina arrested Pincic at the Raca border crossing as per an Interpol warrant issued by Croatia due to a suspicion that he committed war crimes in that country.
He was handed over to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the same day.
As confirmed by the Court, Pincic has been ordered into custody that may last for 18 days.
Data available to Croatian NGOs suggest that Jovica Vincic was sentenced in absentia in Croatia in 1993 to 20 years in prison for crimes committed in the Glina area.
The District Court in Sisak pronounced Vincic and 18 other indictees guilty of conducting an attack on the Maja and Svarcica villages, near Glina, where, according to the verdict, they mistreated Croat residents and pillaged their property.
