Indictee Predrag Kujundzic pleaded not guilty, before the Court of BiH, to crimes against humanity committed against Bosniaks and Croats in Doboj in 1992 and 1993. His Defence attorney Miroslav Ristic said he would file objections against the indictment.

“Honourable court, I plead not guilty to all counts in the indictment,” said Kujundzic.

The Prosecution’s indictment, containing eight counts, charges Predrag ‘Predo’ Kujundzic, as commander of “Predini vukovi” (“Predo’s Wolves”) paramilitary unit, with having participated in the “persecution, murder, rape and capture of civilians in Doboj area”. He is also charged with raping several young girls and “keeping them in sexual slavery conditions”.

Kujundzic was arrested on October 17 last year. The Court of BiH confirmed the indictment against him on January 3, 2008.
