The appeals chamber of the Bosnian state court was asked to repeal a portion of the Josip Tolic verdict which acquitted him for seven counts in the indictment. Tolic’s defense has called for a shorter prison sentence or a confirmation of the acquittals. Tolic has been sentenced to ten years in prison for war crimes in Bosanski Brod and Odzak.
