The appeals chamber of the Bosnian state court confirmed a verdict sentencing Josip Tolic to ten years in prison for crimes committed in Bosanski Brod and Odzak.
The appeals chamber of the Bosnian state court was asked to repeal a portion of the Josip Tolic verdict which acquitted him for seven counts in the indictment. Tolic’s defense has called for a shorter prison sentence or a confirmation of the acquittals. Tolic has been sentenced to ten years in prison for war crimes in Bosanski Brod and Odzak.

On March 6, Bosnias state court will hand down a verdict in the case of Josip Tolic, a former Croatian Defence Council (HVO) soldier accused of committing war crimes in Bosanski Brod and Odzak. The trial took over a year to complete.
