A state prosecution witness testifying at the trial of six former members of the Bosnian Serb Army and paramilitary, said he participated in the burial of bodies at a pit at the Babe site in Mount Borje. The witness said the Mice paramilitary formation had ravaged the area.

Testifying at a Teslic war crimes trial, four state prosecution witnesses said members of their families went missing in 1992.

A former member of a civil protection unit in Teslic testified at the trial of several members of the Bosnian Serb Army and the Mice paramilitary formation. The witness said he dug a trench on Mount Borje, and that bodies corpses were later uncovered in that trench.

Testifying at the trial of six former Bosnian Serb fighters, a state prosecution witness described an attack on his village by the defendants in the beginning of June 1992.

Testifying at the trial of six former members of Bosnian Serb forces, a prosecution witness said the village of Irice was searched in 1992, and a group of men from the village were abducted. Their bodies were found later on.

Testifying at the trial of former Bosnian Serb paramilitary forces, Branko Peric said that defendant Dario Slavuljica had admitted to killing civilians in the summer of 1992. Peric was a prosecutor in Teslic during the Bosnian war, and currently serves as a judge at the Bosnian state court.

Sabahudin Mehmedovic, the first prosecution witness at the trial of the former paramilitary group known as “Mice” or the “Red Berets,” said that the group spread fear and terror when they came to Teslic on June 3, 1992.

The trial of six indictees, who are charged with crimes on Mount Borje, Teslic municipality, in June 1992, is due to begin on February 12, as agreed at a status conference.
