Former Croatian Defence Council fighter Damir Lipovac was jailed for seven years after admitting he inhumanely treated, robbed and killed Serb civilians in the Derventa area of northern Bosnia in 1992.
The Bosnian state court has postponed discussing a guilt admission agreement reached with Damir Lipovac, as consent by the injured parties in his case had not been obtained. The agreement refers to Derventa war crimes for which Lipovac plead guilty.
The trial chamber interrupted the examination of a witness at the trial of Muhamed Sisic, Tarik Sisic, Emir Drakovac and Aziz Susa in order to assign him a legal representative.
Muhidin Kapo, a former investigative judge with the Bosnian court martial of Sarajevo said he investigated the alleged criminal acts of prisoners detained at the Silos detention facility in 1994.
The state prosecution presented a few documents at the Petar Kovacevic trial, but didnt explain their intention in filing them as material evidence. Kovacevic has been charged with war crimes in the Visegrad area.
