The trial of five indictees charged with crimes committed at Koricanske stijene in August 1992 has been postponed after a protected Prosecution witness failed to appear in the courtroom.
Testifying for the Defence of the fourth indictee, a witness says that Dusan Jankovic was not present when the convoy of civilians departed from Tukovi, Prijedor municipality, on August 21, 1992.
"I am saying that Dule Jankovic was not present in Tukovi.
A witness testifying for the Defence of Dusan Jankovic, who is charged with crimes committed at Koricanske stijene, claims that, "after the outbreak of the conflict in Prijedor", residents left the town on their own, adding that the police only performed "traffic and safety control" at the time.
Testifying for the Defence of Dusan Jankovic at the trial for the crime committed at Koricanske stijene, two witnesses say they did not see the indictee escorting the convoy of civilians on August 21, 1992.
"Some policemen, dressed in blue camouflage uniforms, stopped us on the bridge over the Ugar river.
After accepting a guilt admission agreement, the Trial Chamber has scheduled sentencing of Ljubisa Cetic, who is charged with shooting civilians at Koricanske stijene, for March 18.
"I regret all the things I did and having been a member of the police, because it destroyed my life.
Indictee Ljubisa Cetic has given up on testifying for his defence, and his attorneys announced the possibility that he may sign a guilt admission agreement with the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Zelimir Knezevic, a former cartographer at the Republika Srpska Army archive section, says that after having visited the location where 200 civilians were killed on August 21 he determined that the murders were committed "two kilometers away from Koricanske stijene".
A member of the Intelligence-Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina says he spoke to Milorad Skrbic while investigating the murder at Koricanske stijene and "determined that he did not have any operational data about this event".
A passenger who joined the convoy traveling from Prijedor on August 21, 1992 says Milorad Skrbic, who stayed with him and other civilians in "a bus that had broken down", saved his life that day.
