Eleven former members of the Croatian Defence Council will stand trial for crimes against humanity for illegally detaining Bosniaks in inhumane conditions in Mostar in 1993 and 1994. The Bosnian state court on Thursday confirmed the indictment charging the 11 former Croatian Defence Council members - Nedzad Coric, Jure Kordic, Drazen Lovric, Dario Susac, Nedzad Tinjak, Nuhan Sikalo, Dario Mihalj, Stanko Skobic, Tomislav Ancic, Marinko Sunjic and Slavko Golemac - with crimes against humanity.

Former Bosnian Croat policeman Miroslav Peric was sentenced to one year in prison for inhumanely treating an underage prisoner of war at the Vojno detention camp near Mostar in 1993. The Bosnian state court found Miroslav Peric guilty on Tuesday of physically mistreating the boy, who was a prisoner of war at the Vojno camp near Mostar, in October 1993.

Three former Bosnian Army servicemen were sentenced to a total of 17 years in prison for crimes against Croat civilian detainees who were held at a school near Mostar in 1993. The Bosnian state court in Sarajevo on Friday sentenced Enes Curic to five years in prison and Ibrahim Demirovic to ten years for taking part in the illegal detention and inhumane treatment of Bosnian Croat civilians in Bijelo Polje, as well as making them do forced labour, while Habib Copelj was sentenced to two years for abusing the detained civilians.
