Edina Residovic, the defense attorney of Nihad Bojadzic continued presenting her closing statement as the trial against Bojadzic and four other former Bosniak fighters comes to a close.
On the third day of closing statements, defense attorney Vasvija Vidovic said there was no written order which demonstrated that her client, Nihad Bojadzic, had commanded an attack on the village of Trusina in the municipality of Konjic.
Testifying at the Ramo Zilic and Esad Gakic trial, prosecution witness Dragan Kuljanin said the defendants beat him during his detention at the Musala detention camp.
During the first day of closing statements in the trial of five former Bosnian Army soldiers, Nihad Bojadzics defense attorney described what she perceived to be irregularities in the trial. Bojadzic and others have been charged with war crimes in Trusina, in the municipality of Konjic.
At todays hearing of the Eso Macic retrial at the Bosnian state court, Macics defense attorney said his sentence should be reduced. The prosecution, on the other hand, proposed that Macic be sentenced as per the law.
The Bosnian state court confirmed the indictment against Redzo Balic, suspected of having committed war crimes against civilians in the Konjic area in the summer of 1992.
Testifying at the trial of Ramo Zilic and Esad Gakic, a witness said he wasnt aware of the torture and abuse of prisoners held at the Musala detention facility in Konjic. The witness, Ismet Mehic, was the head of a war commission which took statements from prisoners of war.
Presenting its closing statements, the defense of Nedzad Hodzic asked the trial chamber to discontinue its proceedings against Hodzic, due to his poor mental health.
