Former Bosnian Serb Army serviceman Milan Todovic was charged with raping, beating and sexually abusing a Bosniak woman who he held captive in Foca in 1992. The Bosnian state prosecution on Tuesday charged Milan Todovic with crimes against humanity for his sexual and physical assaults on his Bosniak victim.

Former Bosnian Serb Army soldier Zarko Vukovic was sentenced to seven years in prison for raping a woman several times in Foca in 1992. The state court in Sarajevo on Wednesday found ex-serviceman Zarko Vukovic guilty of raping a woman in Foca in eastern Bosnia.

Former Bosnian Army serviceman Emir Drakovac was sentenced to 14 years in prison for participating in the murder and mutilation of a civilian and the torture of a Serb soldier in 1992. The state court in Sarajevo on Tuesday sentenced Emir Drakovac to a total of 14 years in prison for committing crimes including murder and torture in the village of Vratsalici in the Rogatica municipality and Zebina Suma in the Foca municipality in 1992.

Police arrested former Bosnian Serb Army serviceman Zarko Vulovic on suspicion that he committed crimes against humanity against Bosniak civilians in Foca in 1992. State Investigation and Protection Agency police officers arrested Vulovic on Wednesday under an order from the state prosecution, which suspects him of involvement in crimes against humanity against Bosniak civilians.

The defence lawyer for former Bosnian Serb soldier Krsto Dostic called for him to be acquitted of rape in the Foca area in 1992, while the court set the verdict for October 6. Presenting his closing statement on Monday, defence lawyer Milenko Vojo Radovic said the prosecution had not proved Dostic’s guilt beyond reasonable doubt.

The former Republika Srpska Justice Minister informs the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina of his mailing address, to which summons for his appearance before the Appellate Chamber of the War Crimes Chamber will be delivered shortly.
