Case: Vlahovic Veselin

At the continuation of the trial for crimes in the Sarajevo settlements of Grbavica, Vraca and Kovacici, the Trial Chamber warned indictee Veselin Vlahovic that, unless he does not come to the courtroom, and the doctor says that he is capable, the trial will continue without his presence.

In the continued trial for crimes at Grbavica, two witnesses for the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina said that the defendant Veselin “Batko” Vlahovic took money from them, abused them and took some of their neighbours away in 1992.

A protected Prosecution witness, who lived in Vraca, Sarajevo during the war, says that she spoke to indictee Veselin Vlahovic, known as Batko, who told her that he could not sleep unless he killed ten people.

At the trial of Veselin 'Batko' Vlahovic, a State Prosecution witness says that Grbavica, Sarajevo was some sort of a detention camp during the course of 1992.
