Former paramilitary leader Milan Lukic, who is already serving a jail sentence for war crimes, was charged with involvement in the abduction and killing of 20 passengers seized from a train in Strpci in Bosnia in 1993. The Bosnian state prosecution on Friday charged Milan Lukic, the wartime leader of the Avengers paramilitary group, with crimes against 20 passengers who were abducted from a train at Strpci station near Visegrad in eastern Bosnia in February 1993 and then murdered.

Former reservist policeman Slavko Milovanovic was acquitted of ordering the burning of Bosniaks’ homes during an attack by Bosnian Serb forces on a village near Srebrenica in May 1992. The appeals chamber of the Bosnian state court in Sarajevo on Friday acquitted former reservist policeman Slavko Milovanovic of committing a crime against humanity in the village of Resagici near Srebrenica in May 1992.

Former Bosnian Serb Army soldiers Radovan Paprica and Slavko Ognjenovic pleaded not guilty to crimes against humanity including rape and sexual abuse in the Foca area during the war in 1992. Radovan Paprica and Slavko Ognjenovic pleaded not guilty at the Bosnian state court on Wednesday to crimes including rape and sexual abuse in the Foca area between early April 1992 and late March 1993.

Former reservist policeman Slavko Milovanovic is being retried for alleged crimes against humanity after initially being acquitted of ordering the burning of Bosniaks’ homes in an attack on a village near Srebrenica in May 1992. The Bosnian state court’s appeals chamber on Thursday began the retrial of Slavko Milovanovic, a former member of the reservist police force at the Public Security Station in the village of Skelani in the Srebrenica municipality, for alleged crimes against humanity.

The Bosnian authorities issued an arrest warrant for Serbian citizen Nenad Bubalo, a former military policeman who is accused of participating in the murders of at least five Bosniak civilians in 1992. The Bosnian Justice Ministry issued a warrant on Monday for the arrest of Nenad Bubalo, the former deputy commander of the military police of the Bosnian Serb Army’s 15th Bihac Brigade, after he failed to appear for a plea hearing.
