The cantonal court of Sarajevo postponed the Momir Tomas trial, due to the poor health of one of the trial chamber members. Tomas has been charged with crimes against civilians in the municipality of Hadzici.

A defense witness testifying at the trial of Ostoja Stanisic and Marko Milosevic said that in July 1995 he knew nothing about Srebrenica captives being detained in a school building in Petkovci.

At the appeal of the Vehid Subotic case, the state prosecution called for a longer prison sentence for Subotic. Under a first instance verdict, Subotic was sentenced to 14 years in prison for war crimes committed in the village of Dusina in Zenica. Subotics defense has called for an acquittal.

A defense witness testifying at the trial of Slavko Savic said a protected witness known as A was protected and that she couldnt have been mistreated by Savic. Savic has been charged with the rape of a woman which allegedly occurred in the Vogosca area during the Bosnian war.

Testifying at a trial dealing with the wartime murder of civilians in the Cajnice area, a state prosecution witness said his neighbour told him he had been taken away by Milosav, Marijan and Slavko Jovanovic, who were members of the Bosnian Serb Army at the time.

The Bosnian state court is expected to pronounce a verdict in the Goran Popovic trial next week. Popovic has been charged with war crimes in the Visegrad area in 1992 and 1993.

At todays hearing of the Eso Macic retrial at the Bosnian state court, Macics defense attorney said his sentence should be reduced. The prosecution, on the other hand, proposed that Macic be sentenced as per the law.

Testifying at the Mato Condric trial, a state prosecution witness said Condric served with him in the military police force until he was wounded in late July or early August 1992.

Testifying at the trial of six former Bosnian Army soldiers, a witness described the violent behaviour of one of the defendants at a detention facility in Potoci. The witness said two defendants took a prisoner out of her cell and raped her.
